As a child, I was shy.
The kind of shy that makes you try to go unnoticed. In a room, in a hallway, in other people’s eyes.
But in my teens, something changed.
I started customising my clothes. Playing with accessories. Investing in pieces that did something to me — not the sensible ones, the ones that truly looked like me.
And I understood, without being able to articulate it yet: style is a language. And for the first time, I had something to say.
Twenty years later, I’m sitting behind a screen in a Parisian advertising agency.The work is clean. The atmosphere is fine. But something’s missing — that feeling of being in my place, of doing something that truly matters to me.One morning, I resign. I buy a ticket to Montreal, with no clear plan.That’s where everything shifts.Two clients at the boutique where I work invite me to their home to look through their wardrobes. I say yes — partly out of curiosity, a lot out of desire. And what I experience that day, I never forget. Watching someone look at themselves differently. Rediscover themselves. Allow themselves something.I come back to France with a certainty. I train in image consulting at ESR Paris. And I settle in Brussels, where Le Reflet Conseil is born.
